We are looking for an enthusiastic Animal Nursing Assistant to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate would need to be hardworking and trustworthy with a passion for animal care. The role includes supporting our whole team, from reception cover through to assisting our team of vets and veterinary nurses to provide high clinical standards whilst caring for our patients.

Role responsibilities include:

• Assisting vets and nurses with clinical care of inpatients.
• Husbandry and housekeeping.
• Maintaining high clinical standards.
• Lab work.
• Maintaining stock levels throughout the practice.
• Customer service – reception cover as needed.
• Adhering to practice policies and SOP’s.
• Maintaining a good working relationship with the whole team.

The role would be based across our premises in Bolsover and Sheffield, so a driving license is essential. The position is full time – 41.5 hours per week over 6 days, Saturdays are on a rota basis.

Minimum age 18years.
